Select PC Files Server Mode

Because you are installing on a 64-bit machine, you have a choice regarding how you would like SAS PC Files Server to be installed. You have the option to install either the 32-bit or 64-bit version of SAS PC Files Server, but it MUST match the version of Microsoft Office (or its associated ACE ODBC driver) that is already installed on this machine. If neither Microsoft Office nor its ACE driver are installed, you may choose either mode, then install the ACE that matches it. If the version of Microsoft Office installed on this machine changes in the future, you need to uninstall your existing PC Files Server then re-run this installer to change SAS PC Files Server accordingly.

Guidelines for your selection:

• If you have Microsoft Office 2007 (or lower) installed, select 32-bit Compatibility Mode.
• If you have 32-bit Microsoft Office 2010 (or higher, including Office 365) installed, select 32-bit Compatibility Mode.
• If you have 64-bit Microsoft Office 2010 (or higher, including Office 365) installed, select 64-bit Native Mode.
• If you do not have Microsoft Office (or any of its ACE drivers) installed, you may select either, but we recommend you select 64-bit Native Mode unless you have a specific reason not to.

32-bit Compatibility Mode

Select this option to install the 32-bit version of SAS PC Files Server.

64-bit Native Mode

Select this option to install the 64-bit version of SAS PC Files Server.
