The installer must be run under the same userid who performed the SAS 9.1.3 installation. INSTALLATION: The hot fix package downloaded is a tar file named 51wa01hx.tar. STEP 1: Downlod Ant 1.6 from the Ant Apache website Since it will be needed later in the installation of this hot fix, first download and install Ant 1.6 from http://ant.apache.org/. STEP 2: Extract the contents of the downloaded file Extract the contents of the tar file downloaded into a temporary directory, for example /tmp. $> cd /tmp/ $> tar -xf $HOME/51wa01hx.tar where $HOME is the location to where the tar file was downloaded. The tar command will create a directory and a file in the current working directory: 51wa01_h6i This directory will contain 3 files that will drive the installation wizard that will install the Web Analytics updates: Setup_HPUX_IA64 media.inf setup.jar sasautos.tar This tar file contains updates to 5 autocall macros that will be extracted to the SAS_9.1/sasautos directory. waetl.sas wafunnel.sas wapath.sas wapathdp.sas wautils.sas Follow STEP 3 - STEP 5 to install the Web Analytics updates. Then follow STEP 6 - STEP 7 to install the autocall macro updates. STEP 3: Initiate the installation wizard $> export DISPLAY=:0 <==== set your display $> cd /tmp/51wa01_h6i $> ./Setup_HPUX_IA64 This will initiate the InstallShield Wizard. Follow the prompts to complete the installation. STEP 4: Run the ant scripts installed in STEP 3 Execute the ant scripts installed in STEP 3 by running the following command ant -f -Dconfig.dir= -Dtemp.dir= -DSAS_HOME= where is the ant script to execute (eg. webdataanlyt_sp.xml) is the path to the Configuration Directory (eg. C:\SAS\SASWebAnalytics or $HOME/SAS/SASWebAnalytics) The is the top level directory where the webanalytics.war file is located. is a path to a temporary directory for temp files is the path to where all your SAS products are installed (eg. C:\Program Files\SAS or /usr/local/SAS) For example: ant -f ./webdataanlyt_sp.xml -Dconfig.dir=/usr/local/SAS/SASWebAnalytics -Dtemp.dir=/saswork -DSAS_HOME=/usr/local/SAS To confirm that the ant command successfully completed, verify that the datetime stamp on the webanalytics.war file corresponds to the date/time when the command was executed. STEP 5: Re-deploy the ear and/or war files generated in STEP 4. Copy the updated webanalytics.war file from the configuration directory. For example, this directory on Unix might be /usr/local/SAS/SASWebAnalytics/5.1. Follow the Web Analytics Deployment instructions listed in the instructions.html. If port numbers are not the default, please follow the additional info section of the Web Analytics Deployment section to change the port numbers to the appropriate ones. Re-start the Application Server. STEP 6: Make back up copies of the existing autocall macros that are to be updated. In this example, assume that the SAS Foundation is installed in /usr/local/SAS/SAS_9.1 $> cd /usr/local/SAS/SAS_9.1 $> mv sasautos/waetl.sas sasautos/waetl.sas.bak $> mv sasautos/wafunnel.sas sasautos/wafunnel.sas.bak $> mv sasautos/wapath.sas sasautos/wapath.sas.bak $> mv sasautos/wapathdp.sas sasautos/wapathdp.sas.bak $> mv sasautos/wautils.sas sasautos/wautils.sas.bak STEP 7: Extract the contents of sasautos.tar The sasautos.tar file was created in the temporary directory when the downloaded file was extracted (see STEP 2). $> pwd /usr/local/SAS/SAS_9.1 $> tar -xf /tmp/sasautos.tar This tar command will extract the updated autocall macros directly into the /usr/local/SAS/SAS_9.1/sasautos directory. STEP 8: Clean up Remove /tmp/sasautos.tar and the /tmp/51wa01_h6i directory and it's contents. This completes the installation of hotfix 51WA01 on HPUX FOR ITANIUM.
