INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOT FIX E9BA30 ON WINDOWS


BEFORE DOWNLOADING:


The hot fix E9BA30 addresses the issue(s) in SAS 9.1.3 (9.1 TS1M3) 
of Base SAS software on Windows as documented in SAS Note(s):  

      SN-017581 ERROR: Invalid physical name for library XXXX is displayed
                when using Update Table Metadata or PROC METALIB with concatenated libraries   
      SN-017580 ERROR:  This Library is already assigned or cannot
                be reassigned     
      SN-017849 PROC METALIB fails to update an SPDS library table
                metadata with the Error: Invalid Option User.

IMPORTANT NOTE(S):

1.  You must have SAS 9.1.3 (9.1 TS1M3) and SAS 9.1.3 Service Pack 4
    installed on your system before applying this hot fix.

2.  You must have Administrator Privileges on your CLIENT or SERVER machine
    and all currently active SAS sessions must be terminated before applying 
    this hot fix.


AFTER DOWNLOADING:

The hot fix package downloaded is a self extracting executable named 
e9ba30wn.exe.  Launching the executable will initiate the install wizard, 
which will guide you through the setup process.  The following files will
be installed:

      * sasmetas.dll
             the replacement module containing the hot fix

      * e9ba30wn.aud
             a hot fix identifier file that will allow Technical Support
             to determine which fixes have been applied to a system

      * e9ba30wn.txt
             a copy of these installation instructions; this file is installed
             in !SASROOT\core\sasinst\hotfix 

      * checksums and *.ini files used during SASIQ validation testing



This completes the installation of hot fix E9BA30 on Windows.
