INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOT FIX C9TE01 ON WINDOWS


BEFORE DOWNLOADING:


The hot fix C9TE01 addresses the issue(s) in SAS 9.1.2 (9.1 TS1M2) 
of SAS/ACCESS Interface to Teradata software on Windows as documented in SAS Note(s):  

      SN-014502 Having maxdecimals set to 18 in Teradata can result
                in incorrect results

IMPORTANT NOTE(S):

1.  You must have SAS 9.1.2 (9.1 TS1M2) installed on your system before 
    applying this hot fix.

2.  You must have Administrator Privileges on your CLIENT or SERVER machine
    and all currently active SAS sessions must be terminated before applying 
    this hot fix.


AFTER DOWNLOADING:

The hot fix package downloaded is a self extracting executable named 
c9te01wn.exe.  Launching the executable will initiate the install wizard, 
which will guide you through the setup process.  The following files will
be installed:

      * sasiotra.dll
             the replacement module containing the hot fix

      * c9te01wn.aud
             a hot fix identifier file that will allow Technical Support
             to determine which fixes have been applied to a system

      * c9te01wn.txt
             a copy of these installation instructions; this file is installed
             in !SASROOT\core\sasinst\hotfix 

      * checksums and *.ini files used during SASIQ validation testing



This completes the installation of hot fix C9TE01 on Windows.
