INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOT FIX C9BA16 ON WINDOWS


BEFORE DOWNLOADING:


The hot fix C9BA16 addresses the issue(s) in SAS 9.1.2 (9.1 TS1M2) 
of Base SAS software on Windows as documented in SAS Note(s):  

      SN-012979 Checking out Jobs requires a very large amount of memory

which may be reviewed at:

IMPORTANT NOTE(S):

1.  You must have SAS 9.1.2 (9.1 TS1M2) installed on your system before 
    applying this hot fix.

2.  You must have Administrator Privileges on your CLIENT or SERVER machine
    and all currently active SAS sessions must be terminated before applying 
    this hot fix.

3.  In order for this hot fix to be installed and to take effect you
    must bring down the Metadata Server BEFORE applying this hot fix.



AFTER DOWNLOADING:

The hot fix package downloaded is a self extracting executable named 
c9ba16wn.exe.  Launching the executable will initiate the install wizard, 
which will guide you through the setup process.  The following files will
be installed:

      * tkoms.dll
             the replacement module containing the hot fix

      * c9ba16wn.aud
             a hot fix identifier file that will allow Technical Support
             to determine which fixes have been applied to a system

      * c9ba16wn.txt
             a copy of these installation instructions; this file is installed
             in !SASROOT\core\sasinst\hotfix 

      * checksums and *.ini files used during SASIQ validation testing



This completes the installation of hot fix C9BA16 on Windows.
