INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOT FIX B9ST01 ON WINDOWS


BEFORE DOWNLOADING:


The hot fix B9ST01 addresses the issue(s) in SAS 9.1 (TS1M0) 
of SAS/STAT software on Windows as documented in SAS Note(s):  

      SN-011540 ASYCOV Matrix May Be Computed Incorrectly When Scoring
                Does Not Stop     
      SN-011542 Incorrect Covariance Parameter Estimates When LOCAL
                Option Used with Kronecker Product Structures on REPEATED Statement   
      SN-011541 Incorrect Parameter Estimates When Same Variable List
                Used on Random Statement and Model Statement

IMPORTANT NOTE(S):

1.  You must have SAS 9.1 (TS1M0) installed on your system before 
    applying this hot fix.

2.  You must have Administrator Privileges on your CLIENT or SERVER machine
    and all currently active SAS sessions must be terminated before applying 
    this hot fix.


AFTER DOWNLOADING:

The hot fix package downloaded is a self extracting executable named 
b9st01wn.exe.  Launching the executable will initiate the install wizard, 
which will guide you through the setup process.  The following files will
be installed:

      * sasmixed.dll
             the replacement module containing the hot fix

      * b9st01wn.aud
             a hot fix identifier file that will allow Technical Support
             to determine which fixes have been applied to a system

      * b9st01wn.txt
             a copy of these installation instructions; this file is installed
             in !SASROOT\core\sasinst\hotfix

      * checksums and *.ini files used during SASIQ validation testing
 



This completes the installation of hot fix B9ST01 on Windows.
