INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR SASVRES UPDATE ON 64bit WINDOWS


BEFORE DOWNLOADING:


The SASvres update addresses the issue in Version 9.0 (TSM0) 
of SAS software on 64bit Windows as documented in SAS Note:  

      SN-009001 "About SAS System" help pull down option gives incorrect 
                information about Version 9 on Windows 

which may be reviewed at:

IMPORTANT NOTE(S):

1.  You must have Version 9.0 (TSM0) installed on your system before 
    applying this update.

2.  This update should be applied only to machines running a 64bit 
    Windows operating system.

3.  You must have Administrator Privileges on your CLIENT or SERVER machine
    and all currently active SAS sessions, daemons, spawners and servers
    must be terminated before applying this update.


AFTER DOWNLOADING:

The update package downloaded is a self extracting executable named 
SASvres.exe.  Launching the executable will initiate the install wizard, 
which will guide you through the setup process.  The following file will
be installed:

      * sasvres.dll
             the replacement module containing the update


This completes the installation of the SASvres Update on 64bit Windows.
