INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR PRINTING UPDATE ON 32bit WINDOWS


BEFORE DOWNLOADING:


The Printing Update addresses the issue in Version 9.0 (TSM0) of SAS software 
on 32bit Windows as documented in SAS Note(s):  

      SN-009264 The DUPLEX option ignored in Release 9.0 during printing
      SN-008910 "WARNING: Units were not specified on the XXMARGIN option.
                Inches will be used." error message appears in the Log window 
                when changing margin setting in Page Setup dialog box
      SN-009315 When using Print Preview from the Output window, page breaks 
                are not honored

IMPORTANT NOTE(S):

1.  You must have Version 9.0 (TSM0) installed on your system before 
    applying this update.

2.  This update should be applied only to machines running a 32bit 
    Windows operating system.

3.  You must have Administrator Privileges on your CLIENT or SERVER machine
    and all currently active SAS sessions, daemons, spawners and servers
    must be terminated before applying this update.


AFTER DOWNLOADING:

The update package downloaded is a self extracting executable named 
printing_update.exe.  Launching the executable will initiate the install 
wizard which will guide you through the setup process.  The following files 
will be installed:

      * sasxkern.dll
             the replacement module containing the update
      * sasxug.dll
             the replacement module containing the update
      * sasxed2.dll
             the replacement module containing the update


This completes the installation of the Printing Update on 32bit Windows.
