INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOT FIX 82WD01 ON WINDOWS


BEFORE DOWNLOADING:


The hot fix 82WD01 addresses the issue(s) in Release 8.2 (TS2M0) 
of WebHound software on Windows as documented in SAS Note(s):  

      SN-006697 Treeview report applet will not start     
      SN-006681 If a web log requesting URL starts with // then the
                domain is incorrectly set to the first directory   
      SN-006687 Hourly site reports are incomplete and incorrect     
      SN-006688 The Activity Over Time statistics chart shows wrong
                numbers for statistics   
      SN-006680 Stayarea name of length 38 or longer is too long for
                Webhound reports     
      SN-006696 Not able to process IIS log files with Webhound when
                version info is missing   
      SN-006682 Potential file lockouts when running URL reports     
      SN-006683 Unique vistors and active sessions statistics are incorrect
                for weekly and monthly timespans   
      SN-007238 Month not calculated in calendar when crossing year
                boundary

IMPORTANT NOTE(S):

1.  You must have Release 8.2 (TS2M0) installed on your system before 
    applying this hot fix.

2.  You must have Administrator Privileges on your CLIENT or SERVER machine
    before applying this hot fix.


AFTER DOWNLOADING:

The hot fix package downloaded is a self extracting executable named 
82wd01wn.exe.  Launching the executable will initiate the install wizard, 
which will guide you through the setup process.  The following files will
be installed:

      * wbreptui.sas7bcat
             the replacement catalog containing the hot fix

      * wbreptex.sas7bcat
             the replacement catalog containing the hot fix

      * wbrephlp.sas7bcat
             the replacement catalog containing the hot fix

      * wbmacros.sas7bcat
             the replacement catalog containing the hot fix

      * wbgui.sas7bcat
             the replacement catalog containing the hot fix

      * wbetl.sas7bcat
             the replacement catalog containing the hot fix

      * webhound.sas
             the replacement autocall containing the hot fix

      * wbeg.exe
             the replacement executable containing the hot fix

      * webhound.chm
             the replacement help file containing the hot fix

      * webhound.udx
             the replacement help file containing the hot fix

      * 82wd01wn.aud
             a hot fix identifier file that will allow Technical Support
             to determine which fixes have been applied to a system

      * 82wd01wn.txt
             a copy of these installation instructions; this file is installed
             in !SASROOT\core\sasinst\hotfix 



This completes the installation of hot fix 82WD01 on Windows.
