INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOT FIX 82RI09 ON WINDOWS


BEFORE DOWNLOADING:


The hot fix 82RI09 addresses the issue(s) in Release 8.2 (TS2M0) 
of Risk Dimensions software on Windows as documented in SAS Note(s):  

      SN-009079 Missing simulated risk factor values result in incorrect
                information measure and ERROR: Floating Point Overflow   
      SN-010268 Some currencies codes are not supported     
      SN-013938 Support for the Turkish Lira currency code in Risk
                Dimensions     
      SN-016115 SAS Risk Dimensions 3.3 - The Romanian New Leu is Not
                Supported     
      SN-015769 SAS Risk Dimensions 3.3 - If a project contains a scenario
                simulation that does not affect the portfolio value, the project stops and all other analyses are skipped 
      SN-016114 SAS Risk Dimensions 3.3 - Tolerance for Non Positive
                Semi Definite Covariance Matrix Can Not Be Set

IMPORTANT NOTE(S):

1.  You must have Release 8.2 (TS2M0) installed on your system before 
    applying this hot fix.

2. You must have RD 3.3 installed on your system.  This hotfix should only be applied
    to RD 3.3. 

3.  You must have Administrator Privileges on your CLIENT or SERVER machine
    and all currently active SAS sessions, daemons, spawners and servers
    must be terminated before applying this hot fix.


AFTER DOWNLOADING:

The hot fix package downloaded is a self extracting executable named 
82ri09wn.exe.  Launching the executable will initiate the install wizard, 
which will guide you through the setup process.  The following files will
be installed:

      * sasriska.dll
             the replacement module containing the hot fix

      * sasrisk.dll
             the replacement module containing the hot fix

      * sasrso1.dll
             the replacement module containing the hot fix

      * sasriskc.dll
             the replacement module containing the hot fix

      * 82ri09wn.aud
             a hot fix identifier file that will allow Technical Support
             to determine which fixes have been applied to a system

      * 82ri09wn.txt
             a copy of these installation instructions; this file is installed
             in !SASROOT\core\sasinst\hotfix 



This completes the installation of hot fix 82RI09 on Windows.
