INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOT FIX 81DT03 ON WINDOWS


BEFORE DOWNLOADING:


The hot fix 81DT03 addresses the issue(s) in Release 8.1 (TS1M0) 
of Enterprise Miner software on Windows as documented in SAS Note(s):  

      SN-003703  Confusion matrices and all assessment charts may 
                 be incorrect when the combination of target variable name 
                 and value exceed 14 characters in length    
      SN-003224  IDS node not working with DBMS tables defined via the
                 SAS/ACCESS libname statement

IMPORTANT NOTE(S):

1.  You must have Release 8.1 (TS1M0) installed on your system before 
    applying this hot fix.



AFTER DOWNLOADING:

The hot fix package downloaded is a self extracting executable named 
81dt03wn.exe.  Launching the executable will initiate the install wizard, 
which will guide you through the setup process.  The following files will
be installed:

      * dmine.sas7bcat
             the replacement catalog containing the hot fix

      * sasodmd.dll
             the replacement module containing the hot fix 

      * 81dt03wn.aud
             a hot fix identifier file that will allow Technical Support
             to determine which fixes have been applied to a system

      * 81dt03wn.txt
             a copy of these installation instructions; this file is installed
             in !SASROOT\core\sasinst\hotfix 



This completes the installation of hot fix 81DT03 on Windows.
