INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOT FIX 81BA29 ON WINDOWS


BEFORE DOWNLOADING:


The hot fix 81BA29 addresses the issue(s) in Release 8.1 (TS1M0) 
of Base SAS software on Windows as documented in SAS Note(s):  

      SN-004155 Value in combo box may display incorrectly if combo
                box is active and you use Pageup/Pagedown keys to scroll rows

IMPORTANT NOTE(S):

1.  You must have Release 8.1 (TS1M0) installed on your system before 
    applying this hot fix.



AFTER DOWNLOADING:

The hot fix package downloaded is a self extracting executable named 
81ba29wn.exe.  Launching the executable will initiate the install wizard, 
which will guide you through the setup process.  The following files will
be installed:

      * sasowid.dll
             the replacement module containing the hot fix

      * 81ba29wn.aud
             a hot fix identifier file that will allow Technical Support
             to determine which fixes have been applied to a system

      * 81ba29wn.txt
             a copy of these installation instructions; this file is installed
             in !SASROOT\core\sasinst\hotfix 



This completes the installation of hot fix 81BA29 on Windows.
