INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOT FIX 31TM01 ON WINDOWS


BEFORE DOWNLOADING:

The hot fix 31TM01 addresses the issue(s) in 3.1 of SAS Text Miner
software on Windows as documented in the "Issue(s) Addressed" section of
the hot fix download page:

IMPORTANT NOTE(S):

1.  You must have SAS 9.1.3 Service Pack 4 and SAS Text Miner 3.1 installed
    on your system before applying this hot fix.

2.  You must have Administrator Privileges on your CLIENT or SERVER machine
    and all currently active SAS sessions must be terminated before applying 
    this hot fix.


AFTER DOWNLOADING:

The hot fix package downloaded is a self extracting executable named 
31tm01wn.exe.  Launching the executable will initiate the install wizard, 
which will guide you through the setup process.  The following files will
be installed:

      * saspaplg.dll
             the replacement module containing the hot fix

      * sasdocpa.dll
             the replacement module containing the hot fix

      * emtext.sas7bcat
             the replacement catalog containing the hot fix

      * emtxtgui.sas7bcat
             the replacement catalog containing the hot fix

      * textsyn.sas
             the replacement autocall containing the hot fix

      * tmcrawl.sas
             the replacement autocall containing the hot fix

      * tmfilter.sas
             the replacement autocall containing the hot fix

      * tmpunc.sas
             the replacement autocall containing the hot fix

      * tmstart.sas
             the replacement autocall containing the hot fix

      * tmsvdcut.sas
             the replacement autocall containing the hot fix

      * 31tm01wn.aud
             a hot fix identifier file that will allow Technical Support
             to determine which fixes have been applied to a system

      * 31tm01wn.txt
             a copy of these installation instructions; this file is installed
             in !SASROOT\core\sasinst\hotfix 

      * checksums and *.ini files used during SASIQ validation testing



This completes the installation of hot fix 31TM01 on Windows.
