Installation Instructions for Hot Fix 24SRMSA01 on UNIX and Windows


BEFORE DOWNLOADING:


The hot fix 24SRMSA01 addresses the issue(s) in  Supplier Relationship 
Management - SRM Spend Analysis 2.4  as documented in SAS Note(s):

     SN-011442  Scrollbar inoperable in SRM Bar Chart Legend

which may be reviewed at:

The hot fix package that is downloaded is in zip archive format.  The name
of the file is 24srmsa01.zip, and it contains the following files:

   * BarViewer.class
   * WebAF.jar



IMPORTANT NOTE(S):

1.  You must have SRM Spend Analysis 2.4 installed on your system before 
    applying this hot fix.

2.  It is always recommended that a backup of the original files be made
    whenever deploying any patch.



AFTER DOWNLOADING:

The following instructions describe the steps for installing the files listed
above. In these instructions, <!SRMWebapps> is the directory where SAS
Supplier Relationship Management is installed.


WINDOWS SYSTEMS

STEP 1:

   Open the zip archive file and extract the contents into an empty directory.


STEP 2:

   Copy BarViewer.class to 

      <!SRMWebapps>\SpendAnalysis\WEB-INF\classes\com\sas\srm\pv\beans\jsp
  

   Copy WebAF.jar to 

      <!SRMWebapps>\SpendAnalysis\WEB-INF\lib
 
  
   Note: com\sas\graphics\util\visualize contains the classes that were patched into WebAF.jar



UNIX SYSTEMS:

STEP 1:

   Open the zip archive file on a Windows PC and extract the contents into an empty directory.
   

STEP 2:

   Connect to your UNIX server.
   
   Transfer BarViewer.class from the Windows PC to the following directory on your UNIX server:

      <!SRMWebapps>/SpendAnalysis/WEB-INF/classes/com/sas/srm/pv/beans/jsp
  

   Transfer WebAF.jar from the Windows PC to the following directory on your UNIX server:

      <!SRMWebapps>/SpendAnalysis/WEB-INF/lib
 
  
   Note: com/sas/graphics/util/visualize contains the classes that were patched into WebAF.jar



This completes the installation of hot fix 24SRMSA01.
