INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOT FIX 14SP06 ON UNIX

BEFORE DOWNLOADING:

The hot fix 14SP06 addresses the issue(s) in Release 1.4 of Strategic Performance
Management software on UNIX as documented in SAS Note:  

   SN-010449  Fiscal year support has been enhanced for SPM History Servlet

   which may be reviewed at

AFTER DOWNLOADING:

The hot fix package downloaded is a compressed tar file named 14sp06ux.tar.Z.
Extracting the contents of the tar file will copy 3 files to a 14sp06 directory in 
the current working directory from where the tar command is executed.
            
      * SVHistory.war
             the replacement war file containing updates

      * SPMHist_fiscal_enhancements.pdf
             a document containing changes and updates for SPM 1.4.1

      * 14sp06ux.txt
             a copy of these installation instructions

       

Assuming the tar file is downloaded to the user's HOME directory, use 
the following command to extract the contents of the downloaded file:


        $> uncompress -c $HOME/14sp06ux.tar | tar -xf -


The extraction of this hot fix only copies the updated files to a 14sp06 
directory in the current working directory; it does not apply the updates.
