IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOT FIX 14SP04 ON WINDOWS

BEFORE DOWNLOADING:

The hot fix 14SP04 addresses the issue(s) in Release 1.4 of Strategic Performance
Management software on Windows as documented in SAS Note:  

   SN-10450  Dynamic data loading has been added to SPM Web Data Entry
   SN-10904 You may need to remove SERVLET.JAR from the SPM WDE install location

AFTER DOWNLOADING:

The hot fix package downloaded is a self extracting executable named 14sp04wn.exe.
Launching the executable will copy 4 files to the C:\14sp04 directory,by default, or
to the specified directory if modified during installation. 

            
      * sas-spm-wde.war
             the replacement war file containing updates

      * WDE_Installation.doc
             an updated copy of the installation instructions already present
             on  previous installation of this product

      * WDE_Changes.doc
             a document containing changes and updates for SPM 1.4.1

      * 14sp04wn.txt
             a copy of these installation instructions

       

The extraction of this hotfix only copies the updated files to C:\14sp04, or the 
specified directory, it does not apply the updates. 
 
Please refer to the WDE_Installation.doc for complete information regarding the proper
installation of the updates which were copied from hotfix 14SP04.
