INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOT FIX D9RI04 ON WINDOWS BEFORE DOWNLOADING: The hot fix D9RI04 addresses the issue(s) in SAS 9.1.3 (9.1 TS1M3) of Risk Dimensions software on Windows as documented in SAS Note(s): SN-014988 SAS Risk Dimensions 4.1.3: JAVA Client - Cannot Set Date in the Analysis Editor SN-014991 SAS Risk Dimensions 4.1.3: JAVA Client - Running a Duplicate Project May Cause an Error which may be reviewed at: http://support.sas.com/techsup/unotes/SN/014/014988.html http://support.sas.com/techsup/unotes/SN/014/014991.html IMPORTANT NOTE(S): 1. You must have SAS 9.1.3 (9.1 TS1M3) and SAS 9.1.3 Service Pack 2 installed on your system before applying this hot fix. 2. You must have SAS RIsk Dimensions 4.2 Installed on your system. 3. You must have Administrator Privileges on your CLIENT or SERVER machine and all currently active SAS sessions must be terminated before applying this hot fix. 4. D9RI04 has a pre-requisite, hotfix D9BA26. You MUST download and install D9BA26 in addition to D9RI04 for proper function of Risk Dimensions. Post Installation steps are necessary to complete the installation of this hotfix (please see below). AFTER DOWNLOADING: The hot fix package downloaded is a self extracting executable named d9ri04wn.exe. Launching the executable will initiate the install wizard, which will guide you through the setup process. The following files will be installed: * sasrsk.dll the replacement module containing the hot fix * sasriska.dll the replacement module containing the hot fix * sasriskc.dll the replacement module containing the hot fix * sasrisk.dll the replacement module containing the hot fix * d9ri04wn.aud a hot fix identifier file that will allow Technical Support to determine which fixes have been applied to a system * d9ri04wn.txt a copy of these installation instructions; this file is installed in !SASROOT\core\sasinst\hotfix * checksums and *.ini files used during SASIQ validation testing POST-INSTALLATION STEPS: STEP 1: After extracting D9RI04wn.exe you will need to run the following program to finalize the installation: !SASROOT\risk\sample\pcpost.sas This can be done interactively by invoking SAS 9.1.3 SP2, or by running the following from a command line: sas.exe \risk\sample\pcpost.sas STEP 2: Hot fix D9BA26 is REQUIRED to be installed. This hot fix and the installation text file can be accessed from the following locations: Installation Text File: http://ftp.sas.com/techsup/download/hotfix/vd9/base/d9ba26/win/d9ba26wn.txt Download: http://ftp.sas.com/techsup/download/hotfix/vd9/base/d9ba26/win/d9ba26wn.exe The D9RI04 hot fix will NOT be fully functional until both D9BA26 and D9RI04 are applied.
