7.1 Platform Process Manager Patch 71ppm01



Before Downloading:
This document contains the information needed to install the Platform Process 
Manager Patch that addresses the issue documented in SAS sasnote 41256
(http://support.sas.com/kb/41/256.html).  


Important note:
You must have the same file permissions for 
Platform Computing\Platform Process Manger\7\lib\java


Installation details:

1. Go to http://ftp.sas.com/techsup/download/hotfix/platformpatch.html and 
download 71ppm01wn.exe.  If your machine does not have Internet access, 
download the file to a machine that does have access, and copy it. 

2. Launch the executable.  This will extract the file jobflow.jar 
and place it in c:\71ppm01.  

3. Stop Flow Manager (and Calendar Editor if running).

4. Create a backup version of 
Platform Computing\Platform Process Manager\7.1\lib\java\jobflow.jar.
This backup should be placed in a different location from 
Platform Computing\Platform Process Manager\7.1\lib\java. 

5. Copy c:\71ppm01\jobflow.jar to 
Platform Computing\Platform Process Manager\7.1\lib\java\jobflow.jar  

6. Restart Flow Manager


This completes the installation of the platform patch 71ppm01.
