7.0 Platform Process Manager Patch 70ppm05



Before Downloading:
This document contains the information needed to install the Platform Process 
Manager Patch that addresses the issue documented in SAS sasnote 37548
(http://support.sas.com/kb/37/548.html).  


Important note:
You must be logged in as lsfadmin to install this patch successfully.


Installation details:

1. Go to http://ftp.sas.com/techsup/download/hotfix/platformpatch.html and 
download 70ppm05r6.tar.Z.  If the UNIX machine does not have Internet access, 
download the file to a machine that does have access, and copy it to your 
UNIX server. 

2. Extract the contents of the downloaded file:
uncompress -c 70ppm05r6.tar  |  tar -xf -

The contents of the tar file, jobflowui.jar will be placed in the 70ppm05 subdirectory.  

3. Stop Flow Manager (and Calendar Editor if running).

4. Create a backup version of <PM TOP dir>/7.0/lib/java/jobflowui.jar

5. Copy ~/70ppm05/jobflowui.jar to <PM TOP dir>/7.0/lib/java/jobflowui.jar 

6. Restart Flow Manager


This completes the installation of the platform patch 70ppm05.
