INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOT FIX 25ORV01 ON WINDOWS


BEFORE DOWNLOADING:

The hot fix 25ORV01 addresses the issue(s) in 2.5 of SAS OpRisk Var
software on Windows as documented in the "Issue(s) Addressed" section of
the hot fix download page:

   http://ftp.sas.com/techsup/download/hotfix/orv25.html#25orv01

IMPORTANT NOTE(S):

1.  You must have SAS OpRisk Var 2.5 installed on your 
    system before applying this hot fix.

AFTER DOWNLOADING:

The hot fix package downloaded is a self extracting executable named  25ORV01wn.exe.
Launching the executable will initiates a install wizard followed by a Java installation application
which will quide you through the extraction of th update.  The following will be delivered: 

      * 25orv01win.exe
            Java installation file containing replacement module for SAS Op Risk Var Software.
                   (temporarily copied to C:\25orv01 and  auto-executed)

      * 25orv01wn.txt
             a copy of these installation instructions

       * Also delivered during the install are several macro updates which will be installed to the appropriate 
         Product installation directory.
