INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOT FIX 913JPS02 ON WINDOWS


BEFORE DOWNLOADING:

The hot fix 913JPS02 addresses the issue(s) in 9.1.3 of SAS Foundation Services
software on Windows as documented in the "Issue(s) Addressed" section of
the hot fix download page:

IMPORTANT NOTE(S):

1.  You must have SAS Foundation Services Release 1.1 installed on your 
    system before applying this hot fix.

2.  You must have SAS 9.1.3 Service Pack 2 installed on your system before 
    applying this hot fix.

3.  It is recommended that the hotfix be installed using the same userid who performed the SAS 9.1.3
    installation.


AFTER DOWNLOADING:

The hot fix package downloaded is a self extracting executable named 913jps02.
Launching the executable will initiate a Java install wizard, which will guide you through 
the extraction of the updated components  (sas.svc.connection.platform.jar ).   

      * 913jps02wn.exe
            Java installation file containing replacement module:
                      sas.svc.connection.platform.jar 
            

After the installation wizard completes, copy the sas.svc.connection.platform.jar  file from 

         SASHOME\SASFoundationServices\1.1\jars 

to the  original Web applications WEB-INF/lib directory, rebuild the .war file and redeploy 
the application.  




This completes the installation of hot fix 913jps02 on Windows.
