INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOT FIX 121JPS01 ON WINDOWS BEFORE DOWNLOADING: The hot fix 121JPS01 addresses the issue(s) in 1.2.1 of SAS Foundation Services software on Windows as documented in the "Issue(s) Addressed" section of the hot fix download page: http://ftp.sas.com/techsup/download/hotfix/jps121.html#121jps01 IMPORTANT NOTE(S): 1. You must have SAS Foundation Services 1.2.1 installed on your system before applying this hot fix. 2. You must have SAS 9.1.3 Service Pack 3 installed on your system before applying this hot fix. 3. It is recommended that the hotfix be installed using the same userid who performed the SAS 9.1.3 installation. AFTER DOWNLOADING: The hot fix package downloaded is a self extracting executable named 121jps01wn.exe. Launching the executable will initiate a Java install wizard, which will guide you through the extraction of the updated components (sas.svc.connection.platform.jar, and sas.svc.events.jar). * 121jps01.exe Java installation file containing replacement modules below : sas.smc.bimanager.jar These files will not only be updated in SASHOME\SASFoundationServices locations but also to C:\121jps01 to faciliate any necessary copying required for adequate re-deployment of web applications. MANUAL INSTALLATION STEPS (After Installation Wizard Completes) To complete the installation of this hot fix on other Foundation Services installations, perform the following steps: Copy the updated files : sas.svc.connection.platform.jar, and sas.svc.events.jar, from SASHOME\SASFoundationServices\1.1\jars or C:\121jps01 to the original Web applications WEB-INF/lib directory. Rebuild the .war file and redeploy Web application.
