INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOT FIX 913ITCLIENT02 ON WINDOWS BEFORE DOWNLOADING: The hot fix 913ITCLIENT02 addresses the issue(s) in 9.1.3 of SAS Integration Technologies Client for Windows software on Windows as documented in the "Issue(s) Addressed" section of the hot fix download page: http://ftp.sas.com/techsup/download/hotfix/itclient913.html#913itclient02 IMPORTANT NOTE(S): 1. You must have SAS IT Client for Windows 9.1.3 installed on your machine before applying this hot fix. SAS IT Client for Windows is installed by Base SAS, SAS Enterprise Guide, and can also be installed standalone. 2. You must have Administrator Privileges on your CLIENT and all currently active SAS client applications should be shut down. Examples of Client applications : SAS Enterprise Guide, itconfig, or any custom application using IT Client for Windows 3. If you use SAS BI Web Services or your own .Net web services which call SAS, you should do the following: Issue the command 'iisreset' to reset your IIS server so it can release it's reference to SASComb.dll, which will be updated with this hotfix installlation. AFTER DOWNLOADING: The hot fix package downloaded is a self extracting executable named 913itclientwn.exe. Launching the executable will initiate the install wizard, which will guide you through the setup process. The following files will be installed: *SASComb.dll the replacement module containing the hot fix (date of file 01/11/2007) This completes the installation of hot fix 913ITCLIENT02 on Windows.
