INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOT FIX 32ETLS02 ON WINDOWS


BEFORE DOWNLOADING:

The hot fix 32ETLS02 addresses the issue(s) in 3.2 of ETL Studio 
software on Windows as documented in the "Issue(s) Addressed" section of
the hot fix download page:

   http://ftp.sas.com/techsup/download/hotfix/etls32_3.html#32etls02


The following package is available for download:

   32etls02wn.exe


IMPORTANT NOTE(S):

1.  You must have ETL Studio  3.2 installed on your system before applying 
    this hot fix.

2.  You must close any running ETL Studio clients before applying this hot fix.


AFTER DOWNLOADING:

STEP 1:  Make backup of existing jar file, sas.dbuilder.util.jar, in the SAS directory

    Copy the file 

        <SASHOME>\SAS ETL Studio\9.1\sas.dbuilder.util.jar

    to 

        <SASHOME>\SAS ETL Studio\9.1\sas.dbuilder.util.jar.prod  

    where <SASHOME> is the root directory of the SAS install,
    for example C:\Program Files\SAS\SAS ETL Studio\9.1


STEP 2:  Extract the contents of the downloaded file

    Launching 32etls02wn.exe will extract the file "sas.dbuilder.util.jar" and place 
    it in:

        C:\32etls02


STEP 3: Copy the updated sas.dbuilder.util.jar to your SAS ETL Studio directory

    Copy the file 

        C:\32etls02\sas.dbuilder.util.jar

    to 

        <SASHOME>\SAS ETL Studio\9.1  
    
    where <SASHOME> is the root directory of the SAS install,
    for example C:\Program Files\SAS\SAS ETL Studio\9.1


STEP 4: Clean up


    Remove the C:\32etls02 directory and it's contents.



This completes the installation of hot fix 32ETLS02.
