INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOT FIX 25ER02 ON WINDOWS


BEFORE DOWNLOADING:

Hot Fix 25ER02 addresses the issue(s) in Release 2.5 of Enterprise Reporter
software on Windows as documented in the "Issue(s) Addressed" section of
the hot fix download page:

IMPORTANT NOTE(S):

1.  You must have Enterprise Reporter Release 2.5 and Service Pack 3 for 
    Enterprise Reporter 2.5, SAS System Edition, installed on your system 
    before applying this hot fix.
    
    Service Pack 3 for Enterprise Reporter 2.5, SAS System Edition, can be 
    downloaded from:

2.  You must have Administrator Privileges on your CLIENT or SERVER machine
    and all currently active SAS sessions, daemons, spawners and servers
    must be terminated before applying this hot fix.
    
3.  You will be prompted during the hot fix installation to verify the location 
    where Enterprise Reporter 2.5 is installed on your system.  If you originally 
    installed Enterprise Reporter 2.5 in a location other than the default, you 
    will need to update the hot fix installation path.  This path should point to 
    the directory which contains the Enterprise Reporter 2.5 "Business" directory.


AFTER DOWNLOADING:

The hot fix package downloaded is a self extracting executable named 
25er02wn.exe.  Launching the executable will initiate the install wizard, 
which will guide you through the setup process.  

Please review "IMPORTANT NOTE (3) above for information on verifying the location
where Enterprise Reporter 2.5 is installed.

The following files will be installed:

      * wutil32.dll
             the replacement module containing the hot fix
             
      * business.sas7bcat
             the replacement catalog containing the hot fix             

      * 25er02wn.aud
             a hot fix identifier file that will allow Technical Support
             to determine which fixes have been applied to a system

      * 25er02wn.txt
             a copy of these installation instructions



This completes the installation of hot fix 25ER02 on Windows.
