INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOT FIX D9BA58 ON WINDOWS


BEFORE DOWNLOADING:


The hot fix D9BA58 addresses the issue(s) in SAS 9.1.3 (9.1 TS1M3) 
of Base SAS software on Windows as documented in SAS Note(s):  

      SN-016222 SAS ETL Studio transaction fails "because it attempts
                to implicitly update an associated object in repository XXXX and this repository does not have a dependency defined in the repository identified in the XML" 
      SN-016447 Property Objects from multiple jobs checked out to
                a single job may cause "object is already locked" error during change management operations

IMPORTANT NOTE(S):

1.  You must have SAS 9.1.3 (9.1 TS1M3) and SAS 9.1.3 Service Pack 3
    installed on your system before applying this hot fix.

2.  You must have Administrator Privileges on your CLIENT or SERVER machine
    and all currently active SAS sessions must be terminated before applying 
    this hot fix.


AFTER DOWNLOADING:

The hot fix package downloaded is a self extracting executable named 
d9ba58wn.exe.  Launching the executable will initiate the install wizard, 
which will guide you through the setup process.  The following files will
be installed:

      * tkomi.dll
             the replacement module containing the hot fix

      * d9ba58wn.aud
             a hot fix identifier file that will allow Technical Support
             to determine which fixes have been applied to a system

      * d9ba58wn.txt
             a copy of these installation instructions; this file is installed
             in !SASROOT\core\sasinst\hotfix 

      * checksums and *.ini files used during SASIQ validation testing



This completes the installation of hot fix D9BA58 on Windows.
