INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOT FIX 33ETLSDATABLDR01 ON WINDOWS


BEFORE DOWNLOADING:

The hot fix 33ETLSDATABLDR01addresses the issue(s) in 3.3 of SAS ETL Studio
software on Windows as documented in the "Issue(s) Addressed" section of
the hot fix download page:

The following package is available for download:

   33databldr01wn.exe


IMPORTANT NOTE(S):

1.  You must have SAS 9.1.3 Service Pack 3 installed on your system before 
    applying this hot fix.

2.  You must have ETL Studio  3.3 installed on your system before applying 
    this hot fix.   

3.  You must close any running ETL Studio clients before applying this hot fix.

4.  You will receive the following error at the very end of the hotfix installation: 
                  "java.null.pointer exception" 
      This error has no effect on the delivery of the updated files to your system as it expected.
      The installation will continue and the files will be updated properly.


AFTER DOWNLOADING:

The hot fix package downloaded is a self extracting executable named 33databldr01wn.exe.
Launching the executable will initiate a Java install wizard, which will guide you through 
the extraction of the updated components below:  

sas.dbuilder.updatetable.jar 
sas.dbuilder.codegen.jar 
sas.dbuilder.util.jar 
sas.dbuilder.query.jar  
sas.framework.workspace.jar  
Previous files: 
sas.oma.joma.jar
sas.oma.joma.rmt.jar

The files will be updated in the     <SASHOME>\SAS ETL Studio\9.1\ directory paths.

    

This completes the installation of hot fix 33databldr01.
