INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOT FIX 913CDD01 ON WINDOWS


BEFORE DOWNLOADING:

The hot fix 913CDD01 addresses the issue(s) in 9.1.3 of SAS Information Delivery Portal
software on Windows as documented in the "Issue(s) Addressed" section of
the hot fix download page:

IMPORTANT NOTE(S):

.  You must have SAS 9.1.3, Service Pack 2   installed on your machine before applying this hotfix.

2.  You must have SAS Web Olap Viewer 2.1 installed on your machine before applying this hot fix.

2.  Manual steps are necessary to complete the hotfix installation after the automated process completes.
      Therefore, it is important that you read the this file before launching 913CDD01wn.exe.  


AFTER DOWNLOADING:

The hot fix package downloaded is a self extracting executable named  913CDD01wn.exe.
 Launching the executable will temporarily copy the following files to your Windows system
in a directory named C:\913CDD01.  The files will then be auto-executed by this install.

      *  913cdd01_swovj.exe
             Java installation file containing replacement module for SAS Information Delivery Portal components
             Updates to sas.dataexplorer.jar  will be made to the following location:
                   "<SASWebOLAPViewerForJava root install folder>\2.1\SASWebOLAPViewer\WEB-INF\lib"

      * 913cdd01wn.txt
             a copy of these installation instructions
            

The individual product installer will auto-executed and initiate a Java application which will guide you through extraction
of the updated components.  

MANUAL POST-INSTALLATION STEPS:
                   
After the hotfix, 913CDD01 , finishes execution, you should rebuild  and redeploy the associated .war file by following
the steps below:

SAS WEB OLAP VIEWER

    1. Run the "configure.bat" file in "<SASWebOLAPViewerForJava root install folder>\2.1" to create a new war file for 
        deployment.
    2. Follow the steps in the "<SASWebOLAPViewerForJava root install folder>\2.1\config.doc" file for redeploying the 
        war file.


This completes the installation of hotfix 913CDD01.
