Installation Instructions For SPD Server
Version 3.0 (TS M5)
Build November2004
Compaq Tru64 UNIX
   


IMPORTANT NOTE(S):

1.  You must have SPD Server Version 3.0 installed on your 
    system before applying this maintenance. 

2.  Any SPD Server session currently running MUST be closed 
    before applying this maintenance; otherwise, the maintenance will 
    not install properly.  
      

INSTALLING THE PACKAGE:

The package downloaded is a compressed tar file named 30spd09ap.tar.Z
The following instructions describe the steps for installing the package.  These 
files will replace the files of the same name within the SPD Server installation 
directory.  In these instructions, this location will be called <InstallDir> and 
represents the same location described in the install-unix.html file.


STEP 1:

Change directory to the location where SPD Server is installed.

   $> cd <InstallDir>


STEP 2:

Extract the contents of the tar file:

   $> uncompress -c 30spd09ap.tar | tar -xf -


STEP 3:

Repeat the client install as documented in install-unix.html in 
order to install updated client modules which are included in 
this distribution.



This completes the installation of SPD Server Version 3.0 (TS M5) Build November2004
on Compaq Tru64 UNIX.
