INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOT FIX 913ODBCDRIVER02 ON WINDOWS


BEFORE DOWNLOADING:

The hot fix 913ODBCDRIVER02 addresses the issue(s) in 9.1.3 of SAS ODBC Driver
software on Windows as documented in the "Issue(s) Addressed" section of
the hot fix download page:

IMPORTANT NOTE(S):

1.  This hotfix contains a replacement for the SAS ODBC driver shipped with
     production  SAS 9.1.3. 



AFTER DOWNLOADING:

STEP 1:
If installed, un-install the previous version of the ODBC driver.


STEP 2:
The hot fix package downloaded is a self extracting executable named 
sasodbc.exe.  Launching the executable will initiate the install wizard, 
which will guide you through the setup and configuration process.  

During the ODBC driver configuration, you must check the box that says, 

     Infer type in min/max functions

in order to run the query documented in SAS Note SN-020456:

This completes the installation of hot fix 913ODBCDRIVER02 on Windows.
