INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOT FIX 913OD01 ON WINDOWS


BEFORE DOWNLOADING:

The hot fix 913OD01 addresses the issue(s) in 9.1.3 of SAS 9.1 ODBC Driver
software on Windows as documented in the "Issue(s) Addressed" section of
the hot fix download page:

IMPORTANT NOTE(S):

1.  This hotfix contains a replacement for the SAS ODBCS driver shipped with
     production  SAS 9.1 


AFTER DOWNLOADING:

STEP 1:
The hot fix package downloaded is a self extracting executable named 913OD01wn.exe.  
Launching the executable will initiate the installation .  The following files will
be copied to the system:

          *sasodbc.exe
                the replacement SAS ODBC driver containing the fix(s);
                this file will be copied to c:\

          *913od01wn.txt
               a copy of these installation instructions; this file is installed in c:\


STEP 2:
Once the file has been copied you will need to install the driver by executing the  
sasodbc.exe  file.  This will place extract the driver files and place them appropriately 
on the sas image for access.
       
This completes the installation of hot fix 913OD01 on Windows.
