INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOT FIX 23CH03 ON WINDOWS

for SAS Release 8.2


BEFORE DOWNLOADING:


The hot fix 23CH03 addresses issues in Release 2.3 of IT Charge Manager  
Software on Windows as documented in the "Issue(s) Addressed" section 
of the hot fix download page:

IMPORTANT NOTE(S):

1.  You must have IT Charge Manager Software, Release 2.3 and
    SAS, Release 8.2 installed on your system or server 
    before applying this hot fix. 


AFTER DOWNLOADING:

The hot fix package downloaded is a zip file named 23ch03wn.zip from
which the following files will be installed: 

      * fixwiz.sas7bcat
    
      * fixcum.sas7bcat

      * fixrecrd.sas7bdat

      * fixDate.sas7bdat


NOTE:  Please make a backup copy your ITCM site libraries and PDB libraries 
       before applying the maintenance package.


Installation steps: 

1. Unzip the fix pack and copy the four SAS files to your prefix.ECLIB library.  
   For SAS V8, ECLIB library is typically 

      drive:\[SAS Install Path]\CPE\CHM\EC\ECLIB.

2. Launch IT Charge Manager.  Click on the EXIT button at the 
   "Welcome to IT Charge Manager" window.  Select "Exit IT Charge Manager Only" item
   from the popup menu.

3. Type 'af c=eclib.fixwiz.main.scl' (no quotes) in the command line box and press Enter to 
   execute the command.

4. Follow the instructions from the IT Charge Manager Maintenance Package wizard.

5. Exit out of IT Charge Manager.  Future launches of the system will use the 
   applied fixes.  

6. Launch IT Charge Manager again.

7. From Site Selection frame, click the open selected site button. 
   A window will briefly appear indicating "Applying Maintenance".

8. Repeat step 7 for each site administered.


This completes the installation of hot fix 23CH03 on Windows.
