To install the patch [UNIX]: 1. Change directory to the root directory of the Federation Server Client installation. This is the directory named 'fedclient' created during installation. For example, if you installed the server in /opt/sas, run this command: cd /opt/sas/fedclient 2. Run this command: gzip -d -c PATH_TO/Z51001XX.tar.gz | tar xvf - replacing PATH_TO with the correct path to the patch file and XX with the appropriate platform abbreviation (hx, la, r6, s6, sx). To install the patch [Windows]: 1. If you have multiple instances of the client installed on the machine, determine the name of client instance you will be patching. This was chosen during the initial installation, and defaults to 'client1'. 2. Unzip the archive Z51001wn.zip (32-bit clients) or Z51001x6.zip (64-bit clients) into the root directory of your Federation Server Client instance. This is typically: C:\Program Files\SAS\FedClient\client1 If the instance name is not 'client1' or you installed to a different location, adjust the path accordingly. The following files will be installed or updated by this patch: lib/sas.oda.tkts.jar lib/sas.oda.tkts.nls.jar
