Installation Instructions for V68007_cloudera
Hadoop on Linux x64
V68007_cloudera addresses the issue(s) in SAS Threaded Kernel DS2 and FedSQL Language Processors 9.43 for Hadoop on Linux x64 as documented
in the Issue(s) Addressed section of the hot fix download page:

IMPORTANT NOTES

Follow these instructions if you used the SAS Deployment Manager to install the in-database deployment package for Hadoop on your Cloudera cluster. If you used the manual deployment method, you must use the instructions at http://ftp.sas.com/techsup/download/hotfix/HF2/V/V68/V68007/xx/hdl/V68007hl.html

You must have Administrator Privileges on your CLIENT or SERVER machine.

All currently active SAS sessions, daemons, spawners and servers must be terminated.
INSTALLATION
- Create /tmp/sasep_hotfix on the linux workstation where Cloudera Manager is installed
- Download the V68007hl_cloudera.tar and copy it to /tmp/sasep_hotfix
- CD to /tmp/sasep_hotfix directory
- Run a tar command to extract the V68007hl_cloudera.tar
tar xvf V68007hl_cloudera.tar
- CD to new directory /tmp/sasep_hotfix/V68007_cloudera
- Run /tmp/sasep_hotfix/V68007_cloudera/create_parcel.sh. This will create the CSD file and parcel files to tailor the Linux version of the Cloudera OS. The files will be created in the target directory ($TARGETDIR) that you specify
- Replace the file /opt/cloudera/csd/SASEP-9.43.jar with the same name file in the $TARGETDIR
- Copy SASEP-9.43.p0.hf.3* files to /opt/cloudera/parcel-repo
- Run sudo chown cloudera-scm:cloudera-scm for the /opt/cloudera/csd/SASEP-9.43.jar and /opt/cloudera/parcel-repo/SASEP-9.43.p0.hf.3* files
- Run sudo service cloudera-scm-server restart
- Follow the instruction ‘Deploying the SAS Embedded Parcel on Cloudera’ in the SAS 9.4 In-Database Products Administrator Guide (Seventh Edition)
This completes the installation of V68007_cloudera on Hadoop on Linux x64.
