POST-INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
For installing and configuring CXA 6.3 hotfix version, where the data warehouse
user does not have the permissions to create the database objects in the target
database, the instructions in the CXA Admin Guide that refer to initializing or
reinitializing CXA should not be followed. Instead, the following instructions
should be precisely followed.
- For initializing CXA the first time, when no CXA tables yet exist in the
schema, the DDL in the file cxa_avae_create_tables_hfix63.sql should be executed
by a database administrator for the same schema/owner as the tables for the CXT
solution. After that, the optional job cxa_submart_AVAE_initialize should be
run in DI Studio (as described in the CXA Admin Guide.)
- For reinitializing CXA at a later time, the database administrator must
execute the SQL in the file cxa_avae_truncate_tables_hfix63.sql and only then
run the optional job cxa_submart_AVAE_initialize in DI Studio (as described in
the CXA Admin Guide.)
Both of the above mentioned files may be found on disk at
!SASROOT/misc/avacxasvr.
This completes the installation of hot fix V54001 on Linux for x64.
