Installation Instructions for Hot Fix L9P001

64-bit Enabled AIX

Hot fix L9P001 addresses the issue(s) in SAS Metadata Bridges 4.6 on 64-bit Enabled AIX as documented in the Issue(s) Addressed section of the hot fix download page:

The hot fix downloaded, L9P001pt.zip, contains the updated files required to address the documented issues.

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. You must have SAS Metadata Bridges 4.6 installed on your system before applying this hot fix. Refer to SN-35968 for instructions on how to determine which product releases you have installed.

2. You must have Administrator Privileges on your CLIENT or SERVER machine.

INSTALLATION

1. Rename [SASHome]\SASMetadataBridges\4.6 directory to [SASHome]\SASMetadataBridges\4.6_ORG
   
   
2. Download L9P001pt.zip, and unzip the contents to [SASHome]\SASMetadataBridges
   
   
3. Copy contents of [SASHome]\SASMetadataBridges\4.6_ORG\picklists to [SASHome]\SASMetadataBridges\4.6\picklists
   
   
4. Copy any customizations from the orignal directory to the new directory. Customizations may be located in conf/xsl, conf/SASMapping, and conf/MIRProfiles.
   
   To ensure important configuration information is available when running the SDW for updates, copy the directory named Config with the whole content of it from [SASHome]\SASMetadataBridges\4.6_ORG\ to [SASHome]\SASMetadataBridges\4.6\
