Installation Instructions for Hot Fix L40002

Windows for x64

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. You must have SAS Enterprise Guide 6.1 already installed on your system.

2. It is highly recommended that you back up your current SAS Enterprise Guide 6.1 installation before applying this hot fix.

3. You must have Administrator Privileges on your CLIENT or SERVER machine.

4. All currently active SAS sessions, daemons, spawners and servers must be terminated before applying this hot fix.

INSTALLATION

Download and run L40002x6.exe. You may need to run L40006x6.exe as an Administrator.

The following files will be placed in the C:\L40002x6 directory:

• SAS.EG.Application.dll
• SEGuide.exe

Locate the original "SAS.EG.Application.dll" and "SEGuide.exe" in your SAS Enterprise Guide 6.1 installation.

Create backups of these original files if you have not already done so.

Replace the original "SAS.EG.Application.dll" and "SEGuide.exe" with the ones located in the C:\L40002x6 directory.

This completes the installation of hot fix L40002 on Windows for x64.
