Hot fix F87001 addresses the issue(s) in SAS Threaded Kernel DS2 and TSSQL Language Processors 9.31 for Teradata on Linux as documented
in the Issue(s) Addressed section of the hot fix download page:

The hot fix downloaded, F87001tl.zip, contains the updated files required to address
the documented issues.
Do NOT extract the contents of F87001tl.zip. The hot fix installation process will extract
the contents as needed.
After downloading F87001tl.zip, follow the instructions provided in the SAS Deployment Wizard/SAS Deployment Manager 9.3: User’s Guide; see the Apply Hot Fixes section in Chapter 5 -- SAS Deployment Manager Tasks to complete the installation of the hot fix.
The content of this hot fix is listed in the hot fix manifest.
The SAS deployment manager wizard after installation of any number Hot fixes will create new packages - tkindbsrv-9.31-n.x86_64.rpm where n is a sequential number generated depending on existing packages in the Server-side install directory.
In the Server-side install directory, <SASHOME</ SASTKInDatabaseServer/9.31/TeradataonLinux/ , a new package tkindbsrv-9.31-2.x86_64.rpm will be created for the first Hot fix.
To complete the Teradata DBMS server-side deployment of each Hot Fix, refer to Section: Installing the SAS Formats Library and the SAS Embedded Process on page 49 of the SAS 9.3 In-Database Products Administrator’s Guide.
This completes the installation of hot fix F87001 for Teradata on Linux.
