Installation Instructions for Hot Fix F37002
Windows
Hot fix F37002 addresses the issue(s) in SAS Simulation Studio 1.6 on Windows as documented
in the Issue(s) Addressed section of the hot fix download page:

The hot fix downloaded, F37002pt.zip, contains the updated files required to address
the documented issues.
Do NOT extract the contents of F37002pt.zip. The hot fix installation process will extract
the contents as needed.
IMPORTANT NOTES

You must have SAS Simulation Studio 1.6 installed on your system before applying this hot fix.
Refer to SN-35968 for instructions on how to determine which product releases you have installed.

Files delivered in this hot fix will be backed up during the installation process.
However, it is good general practice to back up your system before applying updates
to software.

You must have Administrator Privileges on your CLIENT or SERVER machine.
-
All currently active SAS sessions, daemons, spawners and servers must be terminated
before applying this hot fix.
- This hot fix should be installed using the same userid who performed the initial
software installation.
INSTALLATION
The F37002 hot fix for SAS Simulation Studio 1.6 will be installed using the SAS Deployment Manager (SDM).
By default, the SDM will search in the <SASHOME>\InstallMisc\HotFixes\New directory for hot
fixes to be applied, but will also prompt for a location if you have downloaded hot fixes to a different
directory.
After downloading F37002pt.zip, follow the instructions provided in the
SAS Deployment Wizard/SAS Deployment Manager 9.3: User’s Guide;
see the Applying Hot Fixes for Windows and UNIX section in Chapter 5 -- SAS Deployment Manager Tasks to complete
the installation of the hot fix.

INSTALLATION for JMP customers
For customers running Simulation Studio for JMP with JMP 9, follow the install instructions below to complete
the installation of the hot fix.
- Create a back up copy of the following files:

<SASHOME>\SASSimulationStudio\1.6\simstudio_batch.exe
<SASHOME>\SASSimulationStudio\1.6\simstudio.exe
<SASHOME>\SASSimulationStudio\1.6\launchSASServer\JMP_Sim_Server.jsl
- Download F37002pt.zip to a local directory
- Copy sas.analytics.simulation.jar from the simstudio_vjr.zip file in F37002pt.zip to the following location:
<SASHOME>\SASVersionedJarRepository\eclipse\plugins\sas.analytics.simulation_106000.6.0.20110427190000_d3sim16
- Copy simstudio_batch.exe and simstudio.exe from the simstudio_win.zip file in F37002pt.zip to the following location:
<SASHOME>\SASSimulationStudio\1.6
- Copy JMP_Sim_Server.jsl from the simstudio_gen.zip file in F37002pt.zip to the following location:
<SASHOME>\SASSimulationStudio\1.6\launchSASServer
This completes the installation of hot fix F37002 on Windows.
