POST-INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

To surface the fix described in SN-59078 you must update the catalina.properties file. Perform the steps below for each Web Application Server Instance.

The catalina.properties file can be found, by default, in the conf folder off the server instance path.
(you may need to replace the paths if you did not choose the default for your Web Application Server)

For Example, using a server id of 1 and multiplier of 1 default paths would be:

Windows:
C:\SAS\Config\Lev1\Web\WebAppServer\SASServer1_1\conf\catalina.properties
Unix:
/install/SAS/Config/Lev1/Web/WebAppServer/SASServer1_1/conf/catalina.properties
  1. Using a text editor, open the catalina.properties file once located.

  2. Use the text search function of the text editor to locate the key string: org.apache.catalina.startup.ContextConfig.jarsToSkip

  3. Locate the following string in the “value” field of the property: sas.commons.flex.midtier.jar

  4. Remove the above jar name from the “value” string. Be careful to remove the comma after the jar file as well so there will be only one comma between any two jar file names.

  5. Save the updated catalina.properties file

  6. Restart the servers.

Repeat the above process for all instances of the web application servers.

This completes the installation of hot fix C5P002 on 64-bit Enabled Solaris.
