Installation Instructions for Hot Fix B2D001

Hot fix B2D001 addresses the issue(s) in SAS Federation Server Configuration 4.1_M1 on Linux for x64 as documented
in the Issue(s) Addressed section of the hot fix download page:

The hot fix downloaded, B2D001la.tar, contains the updated file required to address the documented issues.
IMPORTANT NOTES

You must have SAS Federation Server Configuration 4.1_M1 installed on your system before applying this hot fix.

It is good general practice to back up your system before applying updates to software.

You must have Administrator Privileges on your CLIENT or SERVER machine.

All currently active SAS sessions, daemons, spawners and servers must be terminated before applying this hot fix.
- This hot fix should be installed using the same userid who performed the initial software installation.
INSTALLATION

Create a backup copy of SASHome/SASFederationServer/4.1/fedserver/data/install/Config/dffedsvrc/dffedsvrc_config.xml

Download and extract the hot fix:
tar -xvf ./B2D001la.tar

Verify that the B2D001 subdirectory contains the extracted file,
dffedsvrc_config.xml.

Copy this new version of dffedsvrc_config.xml to SASHome/SASFederationServer/4.1/fedserver/data/install/Config/dffedsvrc
POST-INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

This completes the installation of hot fix B2D001 on HP-UX IPF.
