Installation Instructions for Hot Fix B20002 - SAS Simulation Studio for JMP

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. You must have SAS Simulation Studio for JMP installed on your system before applying this hot fix.

2. You must have Administrator Privileges on your CLIENT or SERVER machine.

3. All currently active SAS sessions, daemons, spawners and servers must be terminated before applying this hot fix.

4. This hot fix should be installed using the same userid who performed the initial software installation.

INSTALLATION

1. Create a backup of these SAS Simulation files:
   
   • !SASHOME\SimulationStudio\1.5\SASSimulation.jar
     
   • !SASHOME\SimulationStudio\1.5\launchSASServer\JMP_Sim_Server.JSL
     
   • !SASHOME\SimulationStudio\1.5\resources\images\splash.gif

2. The B20002wn_JMP.exe download is a self extracting executable that contains the updated files for Simulation Studio for JMP.
   Copy this file to each machine where SAS Simulation Studio for JMP is installed.

3. Launch the file to extract the updated files to c:\B20002_JMP.

4. Copy c:\B20002_JMP\SASSimulation.jar to !SASHOME\SimulationStudio\1.5\SASSimulation.jar
   Copy c:\B20002_JMP\JMP_Sim_Server.JSL to !SASHOME\SimulationStudio\1.5\launchSASServer\JMP_Sim_Server.JSL
   Copy c:\B20002_JMP\splash.gif to !SASHOME\SimulationStudio\1.5\resources\images\splash.gif

POST-INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

This completes the installation of hot fix B20002 on Windows.
