SAS OpRisk Monitor Mid-Tier 4.1_M2
Updates to the SAS OpRisk Monitor Mid-Tier 4.1_M2 provided in this hot fix require that Web Applications be rebuilt and redeployed.
If this component is installed on Windows for x64, follow the steps below to rebuild and redeploy the web application:
Step 1: Restore Customizations
This hot fix installs an updated version of the configdata.properties file. Prior
customizations to this file will be lost when the hot fix is applied. You will need
to reapply any customizations to this file after the hot fix is installed.
A backup of the existing configdata.properties file is written to the following location
within the
!SASHOME\SASOpRiskMonitorMidTier\4.1\maintenance\ormonitorweb_4.1_M2 directory:
\SASHome\xx\SASOpRiskMonitorMidTier\4.1\Static\wars\sas.oprisk.monitor\WEB-INF\classes/
This backup can be used to help you apply the same customizations to the new version
of configdata.properties.
Step 2: Re-build Web Applications
In order for this step to execute correctly, the Metadata Server must be running.
2.1. Invoke the SAS Deployment Manager 9.2
From the SASDeploymentManager directory launch config.exe.
SAS Deployment Manager is installed in the following default location:
C:\Program Files\SAS\SASDeploymentManager\9.2
2.2 Select a language in the Choose Language box
2.3 Select Rebuild Web Applications
2.4 Select Configuration Directory or Enter the Configuration Directory and Level that needs to be updated
2.5 Specify Connection Information, including the sasadm User ID and Password
2.6 Select OpRisk Monitor 4.1 MidTier as the Web Application to Rebuild
2.7 Verify the information on the Summary screen and select Start
2.8 Select Finish when the deployment is complete
This process will update the SAS OpRisk Monitor ear in <SASCONFIGDIR>\Web\Staging.
A backup of the original ear file will be placed in the directory below:
<SASCONFIGDIR>\Web\Staging\Backup
Step 3: Re-deploy Web Applications
3.1 Re-deploy the web applications based on the instructions for the web application server you are using.
