INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOT FIX 20EG08 ON WINDOWS


BEFORE DOWNLOADING:

The hot fix 20EG08 addresses the issues in Release 2.0 of Enterprise Guide 
software on Windows as documented in SAS Note(s):  

      SN-009128  Duplicate values display in Query builder within Chinese version of                                                    Enterprise Guide
      SN-009129  System abort after selecting SAS List File in Chinese version of Enterprise                                                    Guide 
      SN-009130  Data string in footnote does not reflect locale in Japanese version of                                                    Enterprise Guide 
      SN-009131  Garbage characters returned from Query filter in Japanese version of                                                    Enterprise Guide 
      SN-009132  Garbage characters may display within Query window tab 
      SN-009134  Access violation errors in Frequency task of Japanese version of Enterprise                                   Guide

IMPORTANT NOTE(S):

1.  You must have Enterprise Guide Release 2.0 installed on your 
    system before applying this hot fix.

2.  Any Enterprise Guide sessions currently running MUST be closed 
    before applying this maintenance; otherwise, the maintenance will 
    not install properly.  
      


AFTER DOWNLOADING:

The hot fix package downloaded is a self extracting executable named 
20eg08wn.exe.  Launching the executable will initiate the install wizard, 
which will guide you through the setup process.  


This completes the installation of hot fix 20EG08 on Windows.
