INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOT FIX C9BA27 ON WINDOWS


BEFORE DOWNLOADING:


The hot fix C9BA27 addresses the issue(s) in SAS 9.1.2 (9.1 TS1M2) 
of Base SAS software on Windows as documented in SAS Note(s):  

      SN-012148 WHERE clause with IN: may not return all matching observations
      SN-012740 PROC DATASETS - Note: There were 0 observations read
                from data set LIBREF.dsname   
      SN-013705 Read Access Violation when remote submitting PROC UNIVARIATE
                code via SAS/CONNECT

IMPORTANT NOTE(S):

1.  You must have SAS 9.1.2 (9.1 TS1M2) installed on your system before 
    applying this hot fix.

2.  You must have Administrator Privileges on your CLIENT or SERVER machine
    and all currently active SAS sessions must be terminated before applying 
    this hot fix.


AFTER DOWNLOADING:

The hot fix package downloaded is a self extracting executable named 
c9ba27wn.exe.  Launching the executable will initiate the install wizard, 
which will guide you through the setup process.  The following files will
be installed:

      * sasxwher.dll
             the replacement module containing the hot fix

      * tkewh.dll
             the replacement module containing the hot fix

      * sase7yse.dll
             the replacement module containing the hot fix

      * sase7io.dll
             the replacement module containing the hot fix

      * sasods.dll
             the replacement module containing the hot fix

      * c9ba27wn.aud
             a hot fix identifier file that will allow Technical Support
             to determine which fixes have been applied to a system

      * c9ba27wn.txt
             a copy of these installation instructions; this file is installed
             in !SASROOT\core\sasinst\hotfix 

      * checksums and *.ini files used during SASIQ validation testing



This completes the installation of hot fix C9BA27 on Windows.
