INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOT FIX 62AB08 ON WINDOWS BEFORE DOWNLOADING: The hot fix 62AB08 addresses the issue in SAS Activity-Based Management 6.2 software on Windows as documented in the "Issue(s) Addressed" section of the hot fix download page: http://ftp.sas.com/techsup/download/hotfix/abm62.html#62ab08 IMPORTANT NOTE(S): 1. Before applying this hot fix, you must have SAS Activity-Based Management 6.2 amd hot fix 62AB01 installed on your system. 2. All currently active SAS Activity-Based Management 6.2 sessions must be terminated before applying this hot fix. You must also have Administrator Privileges on your machine and all currently active SAS sessions, servers and services must be terminated before applying this hot fix. 3. After installing the hot fix on your server, you must reboot it. AFTER DOWNLOADING: Find the original copies of sas.abcm.Core.dll and sas.Services.Remoting.exe on your SAS Activity-Based Management server in: \SAS\Activity-Based Management Solution\Enterprise Server\SasSolutions\ABM\services\bin and remove them to another folder. Place the downloaded hot fix package, a self extracting executable named 62AB08wn.exe, on the SAS ABM server and double-click to launch it. Change the “Unzip to” path to: \SAS\Activity-Based Management Solution\Enterprise Server\SasSolutions\ABM\services\bin and click Unzip. This will put updated copies of sas.abcm.Core.dll and sas.Services.Remoting.exe in place of the original ones you previously removed. This completes the installation of hot fix 62AB08 on Windows.
