    SN-008625 ***Alert Note***

    The Likelihood Ratio Test Statistic for the Marker-Trait Association in
    PROC HAPLOTYPE is incorrect

    Product: SAS/Genetics
    Component: HAPLOTYPE procedure
    Priority: ALERT

      The Likelihoood Ratio Test (LRT) statistic and its associated p-value
      for the Marker-Trait Association in PROC HAPLOTYPE are incorrect. The
      correct Likelihood Ratio statistic can be obtained by multiplying the
      value of the Chi-Square statistic that is reported by 2. The p-value
      for the LRT reported in the the column "Pr>Chisq" is also incorrect.
      To obtain the correct p-value, use the PROBCHI function in the DATA
      STEP. The correct p-value can be calculated as:

         p_value = 1 - probchi(chisq,df);

      where chisq is the corrected Chi-Square statistic, and df is equal to
      the sum of the degrees of freedom of each TRAIT variable, minus the
      degrees of freedom reported in the row "COMBINED".
