MATRIX statement syntax [ , ] yields incorrect model

The MATRIX statement in PROC CALIS allows you to specify the
location of items in a matrix via [i,j] notation. It is valid
to leave the i and j subscripts blank [ , ]. Thus, the following
two MATRIX statements should produce the same results.
1) MATRIX PHI [,] = 10*COV:;
and
2) MATRIX PHI = 10*COV:;
However, with the syntax shown in #1 above, the model is not
being correctly specified, so the output from the procedure is
incorrect. There are no warnings or error messages.
To circumvent the problem, use the #2 syntax.
