PROC MIXED Produces Incorrect Satterthwaite DF in Certain Situations

PROC MIXED will produce incorrect Satterthwaite or KR degrees of freedom
when TYPE=FA0(2) is specified on the RANDOM statement and the G matrix
is singular. PROC MIXED will produce a message in the log indicating
that the G matrix is nonpositive definite in this case, but there is no
indication that the degrees of freedom for the model are incorrect.
There is no circumvention for this problem.
