Replacement node results may depend upon the order of data values when
replacing multiple values by existing data values

In the Replacement node of Enterprise Miner, the results may incorrectly
depend on the order of the data and replacement values. This will occur
only when you are replacing multiple values and when the new formatted
value matches another value that gets replaced.
As an example suppose you have a data set with values A, B, C, and D,
and that you would like to have those values replaced with either B or
X as follows:
A -> B
B -> X
C -> B
D -> X
Note that one of the replacement values, B, is also a data value.
Because of this problem, all "if" checks are applied to all observations
in sequence. The first condition changes the A values to B, but the
second condition goes on to change the B to an X. The incorrect data
set then looks like this:
X (this X should be a B)
X
B
X
There are no errors or warnings produced and there is no circumvention
for this problem.
To determine whether or not you have encountered this problem in your
analysis, examine your data and verify that the mappings have been done
correctly.
